SUPERNATURAL Season Finale Promo

Review for the latest episodes coming soon!

Tuesday 27 April 2010

SAD ABOUT : Legend Of The Seeker ending

Yes, unfortunately it's true.According to Ausiello, Legend Of The Seeker will not be renewed for a 3d season and is therefore, cancelled.

Can I start crying now, please??I absolutely adored this series and I would love for it to come back next year, but I guess what I want doesn't matter when it comes to American Television. So many series I love have been cancelled, and it's starting to get a bit frustrating.

I still can't believe there won't be any Legend next year *sigh*

WATCHING : Survivor S20 EP10

*SPOILERS AHEAD*

!!Un-fucking-Real!!

This episode made me so glad I started watching Survivor, I can't even tell you!

But let's start from the beginning:

Merge happens, and when Villains, carrying what it seems their entire camp, walk towards Heroes' beach, JT, eagle - eyed that he is, spots Parvati immediately."Wait, what's she still doing here? And Russell is here, too?OMG, I've been played!I can't believe I trusted Russell, a man I haven't spoken to for more than 2 minutes in the entire game, with my,MY,immunity idol.Oh, I swear on all that is holy and on my cattle,I'll kick him out and he won't even know what hit him!Just wait and see,Russell!"

He seemed to say.

What he did say was "Wait, is this Parvati?Wow, she must have played a hidden immunity idol, just like my Russell-boy did!Oh, fudge!"
Later, when he "confronted" Russell about it, he told him what he had planned with his concubines to say,and what the Heroes stupidly suspected : that Parvati had a hidden immunity idol, she played it and Courtney was out for some reason. And JT didn't question that for a second, saying to Rupert "See?I told you he was solid". I mean, is he for real?? I was so frustrated with him, I started laughing hysterically, because I really couldn't believe anyone can be THAT stupid, let alone a previous winner.
But then Rupert talked to Sandra, and she filled him in, saying that there never was an all-women alliance and that Russell is the kingpin and Parvati is his second in command.Rupert, despite the humungus amount of hair in his ear, listened to her and believed her.Well, not completely, God forbid!, but enough to go to the others and say  "Guys, maybe we shouldn't trust Russell".JT was all "come on, man" and "you're getting paranoid" and "Russell promised to give me one of his kidneys so I believe I can trust him" and (with a chuckle) "That's why Rupert has never gone far in the game, because he doesn't know how to stategize. Hey, Rups man, leave it to the experts, OK?"

Whatever.

However, they all decided to play it safe and only pretend to vote Parvati, in case she indeed had a hidden immunity idol,so they would both flush out the idol and get to kick some other Villain out.In addition(yes,it gets better!)Russell is pretty anxious about Parvati getting voted out.So after a lot of thought,of about 5 seconds,he decided to give his well earned idol to Parvati, to save her bony ass AGAIN!Little did he know, that she had one already!Oh, the joke's definitely on you this time Russ! That girl is gooood! She even has THE KING (of all slimy and evil) wrapped around her finger! That's saying a lot!
Then Amanda goes and talks to her.Why on earth??She tells her that she has her back and all that nonsense and Parvati, tells her she has a hidden immunity idol.Amanda secretly likes that, because she knows that their plan is now made complete:let Parvati suspect she's out and if she doesn't win individual immunity(Danielle won, btw),she plays the hidden idol,a villain goes home and we win. We're so cunning, I can't even stand it!

Not.

Her big mouth betrayed her, when she practically forced Parvati to play the idol, telling her that she will most definitely get voted out.Of course,Parvati isn't stupid. She is the queen for a reason, you know. She knew right on the spot that Amanda was lying and she decided to do something that nobody,I mean NOBODY, would see coming.Something magical!

Tribal council.Jeff asks questions and gets evasive answers, except for Russell,as always. When Parvati said she feels like the leper of the tribe, Jeff asked her if that's because she was used to getting so much attention by everyone.Love you,Jeff.Love, love, love!
And we get to the vote.Heroes vote for Jerri and Villains for JT(obviously not that big a threat, you guys!)Jeff asks if anyone has the hidden immunity idol.Silence.All heads and cameras turn to Parvati. She reaches in her bag.Heroes nod thinking "I knew we shouldn't trust Russell! But now we know".Parvati doesn't keep the idol for herself, though. She gives it to Sandra. What the fuck????Why did she give it to her?Chocked laughter from the Heroes, thinking she gave the idol to the wrong person. And then P. reaches in her bag one more time. And gives her second idol to *drum roll* Jerri. Everyone freezes.JT moans and groans knowing he's out,Rupert looks like he's gonna tear his beard off with his bear hands and Russell,oh Russell looks piiiiiiissed!!!Because not only he didn't appreciate giving P. his idol and not even using it to save her own self, but also because she had another one he didn't know about. And you know that if you lie to Russell, you'll burn in hell for all eternity!Maybe longer!
"You have some 'splaining' to do" he told her with menace and everything went black.

Oh,JT was voted out.Under any other circumstances I would a care a little bit, but he basically kicked himself out so I couldn't care less.

So, everybody is game now.No idols(I'm sure they will plant new ones soon, just for Russell. With his name on them).Only advantage is Villains' numbers, which I wouldn't count on,because Sandra desperately wants to flip so she can vote Russell out. Now, about Russell and P. I don't think their alliance is broken, but  Russell will definitely be more sceptical when it comes to her. After all, she made him look like a fool, and that is not something he is gonna forgive and forget.I enjoyed watching him look humiliated so much, that I think congrats are in order. So,cudos to P.Even though, I never liked her, she is admittedly one hell of a player!

WATCHING : Lost- The Last Recruit

*SPOILERS AHEAD*

"Ότι τι;" That's greek for "And?" That's what this week's episode felt like to me.Like an episode cut in half and next week we'll get the other half.So many things happening, but yet nothing really happened.I don't know if you ever get that feeling, but that's what I felt.
So, I'm not exactly sure how I'm supposed to write a review about Last Recruit.I guess, I'll be waiting for its other half in two weeks.

Some stuff that happened:

  • MIB was the one inside Jack's dad (Huge revelation.Not.)
  • Sawyer ditched Smocke, and he,Kate and the others(no pun intended :P) took the sailboat, at the hopes of meeting up with Widmore and having a chance at the sub (guess how that worked out!)
  • Jack was with them, but he decided to jump off just at the last minute, telling Sawyer that he knows they are not supposed to leave(here we go again!)and that if MIB(smoke monster, killer) wants them gone, maybe, just maybe,it'd be  a pretty good idea if they stayed.
  • Claire followed them and found out they were leaving without her.Kate talked some reason into her (yeah, right!),convincing her that the only reason she came back was to find her and get her reunited with her son (YEAH,RIIIIIIIGHT!!!)So, Claire's onboard.Ick.
  • Sun's and Jin's reunion was anticipated but still sweet.
  • Smocke saved Jack from the explosion(don't ask!)Question:If he wants all the candidates dead (or gone, whatever), why did he save Jack?
  • Smocke sent Sayid to kill Desmond. He told him he did, but come on!
  • Richard and co. are MIA.
  • Desmond trying to bring everyone together in the FS.Sun panicking at the sight of Locke was good.
You see what I'm talking about?Incomplete scenes, leaving you wondering, with only 5 episodes left. It's like watching Season 01 all over again.Which doesn't not make it a bad episode necessarily, but not very good one either.

Sawyer : (Sayid) He's gone over to the dark side.
Hugo : Yeah, but you can always bring people back from the dark side.
I mean, Anakin...
Sawyer : Who the hell is Anakin?

WATCHING : Glee - The Power Of Madonna

Without a doubt, the best one so far!

Highlights:

*Like A Virgin
*Brittany(Looooove her!)
*Sue's comments on Will's hair-always a laugh!
*Michele's voice.Amazing.

The only thing that didn't work for me was Rachel's song with Finn and Vogue.I found it a bit awkward. And disturbing(?).

WATCHING : Survivor S20 EP 09

*SPOILERS AHEAD*

It really happened. No smart editing, no nothing.Just stupidity at it's very, very best.JT gave Russell the hidden immunity idol.To save himself from the vote and join the remaining Heroes after the merge, in a powerful alliance of 6,till the end.Amanda(who would have thought?)had some reservations, which she expressed while interviewed privately. Not to the rest of her tribe, seeing that the idol was part hers, but to the camera. All the other Heroes were overly excited to give Russell the idol and when they went back to camp from their immunity challenge win, they almost restrained themselves from doing the happy dance, because they were certain that this move was THE move, and would benefit them immensely. As Colby said "This is Survivor history".Well, it sure is,fake Superman!
And as if giving Russell the idol wasn't enough, JT wrote him a note.Oh, the note.Words can't even describe what I felt when I saw him read it out loud to the rest of the Heroes to gain their approval.Maybe he wasn't confident about his grammar,I don't know."Pity" is not a strong enough word."Frustration" is close, but still not cutting it.I'm frustrated because these morons are actually forcing me to root for Russell, which is completely against everything I believe in.Unreal.

"Now,I don't even have to find idols.People are actually giving me idols" - Russell

*Parvati has found herself another hidden immunity idol, which she showed Danielle. But not Russell. At least not yet.See, Heroes? She didn't even tell her BFF about the idol she found, whereas you just handed the only leverage you had in the game to a complete stranger. Tsk,tsk.Parvati was right. How was JT able to win Survivor, is beyond me.

*Courtney was voted out.

WATCHING : Lost - Everybody Loves Hugo

*SPOILERS AHEAD*

Nice episode.I expected way more from what people where saying about it,but it was not THAT good,IMO.Don't get me wrong, it was nice seeing Libby again(she's adorable!),even though the reason she gave Desmond the sailing boat will never be cleared-maybe it just happened, no reason at all?Nah, too easy. And of course let's not forget Smocke pushing Desmond into the well.Is it possible Desmond, after the electromagnetic thing-y,is now Jacob and that Smocke somehow saw through that?Did you notice his expression when he asked Desmond "Do you know who I am?" and Desmond answers "Of course. You're John Locke".Weird.And then down the well he goes.Weird-er.

In the flash sideways we see Desmond trying to go through with his plan, showing every passenger of Oceanic 815 that what they're living is not real(well, not exactly, but you know what I mean),talking Hugo into talking to Libby again, realising that, when she kisses him, that she's been telling him the truth all along.Oh,and of course the last scene when Desmond hits Locke with his car and runs. What was that?Apparently, he knows he had to kill Locke, in the hopes of avoiding the whole Smocke situation. But how did he found out?Did he just happen to see him at school and bam! it hit him?His scene with Ben indicates that he has been waiting for Locke, so he must have intended to kill him when he got there.Has he spoken to Eloise, the only one that seems to know about the two realities, and she told him he had to kill Locke in order to prevent something very bad from happening?I don't know. But the much anticipated reunion in the end, indicates that we'll find out in the next episode.

*Illana dies.So much for her training!

Pull the blindfold down
So your eyes can't see
Now run as fast as you can
Through this field of trees

Say goodbye to everyone you have ever known
You are not gonna see them ever again
I can't shake this feeling I've got
My dirty hands
Have I been in the wars?
The saddest thing that I'd ever seen
Were smokers outside the hospital doors

Someone turn me around
Can I start this again?

WATCHING : Lost - Happily Ever After

*SPOILERS AHEAD*

Every time I am to write a review about an episode of Lost,I try to be all critic-y and serious. It finally dawned on me that I can't do it. I am a proud lost fan and I can be neither objective nor serious.
That's why I find it so hard to write a review about this episode.About every amazing Lost episode, for that matter.Because Happily Ever After was indeed amazing.Maybe beyond amazing.Maybe Ab Aeterno amazing.
There was absolutely nothing wrong about this episode.Everything falls right into place. What's not to love about it? Charlie's appearance and the magnificent bar scene he had with Desmond? Faraday's appearance and again, his scene with Desmond? Penny's appearance and, surprise surprise, her scene with Desmond? There is no coincidence whatsoever that every Desmond centered episode is brilliant. He is this series constant, for sure. And here he is again, after a long absence, in an episode packed with emotion and sentiment and at the same time an episode that pushes the plot forward, explaining in a few words wonderfully spoken by Faraday, the meaning of last year's finale:the bomb explosion, and what was its impact to the universe, to time and space as we know it,to everyone's lives. In the end, everything comes together in a realization that this is not the life that any of them is supposed to live and that everyone must be aware and do something about it.
Every episode of Lost should and could be like Happily Ever After.Exemplary in every aspect.

WATCHING : Survivor S20 EP 08

*SPOILERS AHEAD*

Heroes won.Both challenges.Coach is out.Bored.
However, 2 extremely important things happened in this episode:
  1. Heroes think that because Rob is out, there is a dominating women's alliance at the Villains' camp.WHAT????? I knew the Heroes were stupid, but I didn't think they'd be THAT stupid. And JT whispering to Russell to hang in there??Are you freaking kidding me???Of course, Russell ,the ultimate evil that he is, immediately picked up on this, and I could already hear the cogs in his brain turning, trying to work this unexpected gift to his advantage. And he has every right to.He's playing with a bunch of morons to win a million dollars. It's a fact. Also, getting rid of Coach, without even voting against him, strengthens the "Women are out to get the men" notion.Brilliant!
  2. Next week's episode preview.Oh My God!!!!!If there is a merge in the next episode ,and something tells me there will be, and JT actually does what he says he'll do,give Russell the hidden immunity idol so that he can rescue the men from all the blood sucking women over there and no other member of the Heroes tribe even tries to oppose to that,he might as well give him the money right there and then, because, without a doubt,Russell will be the winner. It will top all of the other stupid moves that went on in the game of Survivor, that's for sure.Or maybe it's just another smart editing, who knows? Ahhh, can't wait for next week!!!
ps.What's Colby still doing there??
pps.Coach is the first member of the jury.Just thought I'd mention it.

WATCHING : Survivor S20 EP 07

*SPOILERS AHEAD*

When this season of Survivor started, I was supporting the Heroes full heartedly. There were people in the Villains' tribe,I wished I'd never have to see again-ever!I mean Coach,Russel,Tyson and Rob??Come on!Blah!
Then Heroes collapsed like a flan in a cupboard.Suddenly I started looking at the villains' camp with new eyes.Again Tyson justified my opinion of him, not a surprise.Stupid, stupid man.Coach I still don't like and probably(surely) never will. And that leaves us with Russel and Rob.And I am telling you now that not in a million years did I think that I would ever bring myself to like Boston Rob. Russel is so disgusting and lame,a slimy little troll indeed,I can't stand the sight of him, that Rob seemed liked the most honourable man in comparison. But all that is pointless, because Rob is unfortunately out of the game.Way too early. The main reason I was so excited to watch Survivor every week, was to see Rob trying to get rid of Russel or Parvati and vise versa. Now Russell, the king of all things evil, will rule and lead his little concubine herd to the merge, until-crossing fingers-someone with half a brain, will decide to take him out. Doubtful, since the played hidden immunity idols are back in the game and he will probably find them all buried in the jugle calling to him and will lie in bed with them and stroke them every night .The only ones I trust with this unbearable task-kill the Devil- are J.T and Parvati, who I also can't stand.Yeah, yeah, Parvati and Russell are great players and blah blah, but do you really wanna tune in every week and watch them talk complete rubbish and being ridiculous, without no one,and that is I think the most nerve wracking thing, thinking that they should have thrown them out at the very first tribal council? I know I can't stand it.
Oi, I'm afraid it's gonna be a loooong season!
As for the mutineers, Jerri and Coach, I will only say this : Jerri-I'm giving you 3-4 weeks, tops.Let's see how you like it when Russell, who you trust so much, even though you know nothing about him, will throw you out of the game when you've served your purpose.
Coach - I think Rob's line as he was leaving the tribal council says it all : "You're a little man".

WATCHING : Lost - The Package

*SPOILERS AHEAD*

The only things worth keeping in mind are :
  • new info. In order for MIB to leave the island, the remaining candidates must all leave together.Well, if that's the case why did he went to all this trouble bringing them back? (In Christian's form, telling Locke he had to bring everyone back).Maybe he is just saying that just to get them all together and then kill them.He wouldn't mind a little massacre,I'm sure.Obviously, there must be no candidates left for him to be able to leave,no force of any kind keeping him there.Does this mean MIB has to exterminate them or just them leaving the island would suffice?Because that just begs the question again:why was he so eager to get them all back in the first place?

  • Desmond's re-appearance. Yay!Sayid's intense gaze at the end gave me chills!I know that the next episode is not a Desmond-centered one, but as Lindelof himself clearly stated : "In one week, the conversation is going to change". Hmmm....

*turns out the Desmond-centered episode was next.I got them mixed up with Hugo's.

Private web series

Private

Includes Private,Invitation Only,Untouchable and Confessions.
IMO,the cast,maybe except for Reed,is completely wrong.So it didn't work for me.

WATCHING : Lost - Ab Aeterno

*SPOILERS AHEAD*

Amazing.Brilliant.Magnificent.

I can go on coming up with adjectives to write, but the truth is, words can't really describe episode 9 of Lost's last season, one of the most anticipated episodes of the series.
I'll begin by saying that Richard(along with Ben)is my favourite character since the first time he appeared on screen. So I really don't care about being objective, since I can't think of a single person who didn't like Ab Aeterno.
I don't know what to say, or where to begin on commenting on what I saw. There's not much to say, actually. So, I'll just say what I liked and didn't like about the episode :

DIDN'T LIKE : The last scene with Richard and his wife.I felt like emotions were a bit forced, even though the whole scene was wonderfully played by Carbonell.

LIKED : Epic scenes with horses, heavy rain, ships caught in storm, all happening in 1867.

No "present time island" which was fine by me, as there was no distractions from Richard's story.

Beautifully directed!!

Carbonell's acting was amazing throughout the whole episode.

We got to see Titus Welliver again, which is always a plus.

1/2 of the episode was in spanish which I absolutely adore!I am not fluent yet,but I try!

HUGE revelation : the island's purpose of existence, which finally gave an end to all the speculation(no, I don't think it is Hell, come on!)So, we're basically left with one final question : who are these guys(Jacob and MIB) and what's going on between them? When this is answered, personally,I'm covered.OK, maybe I'd like to see Desmond one more time, because I still believe that he will play a major role in all this.

When I went to bed and started thinking about the episode, I wondered if maybe I overestimated it, unjustly comparing it with the previous episodes of the season.15 seconds later, I realised that this is not the case.It was, without question, one of the best -we're talking top 5-best- episodes of the series.Period.

*not much of a review I know, but I have the flu, my use of the english language has deteriorated dramatically, and the episode was so good, that I am literally at a loss for words!*

WATCHING : Skins Season 4

*SPOILERS AHEAD*

This season, I felt, was a bit lacking. In what, I still can't figure out.Maybe it wasn't as honest as the previous seasons. It felt kind of exaggerated at times, especially Effy's story. She didn't have 5 lines the whole season, and suddenly we find out that she has gotten completely mad and she wants to off herself, because apparently her love for Freddie drove her insane.I liked her episode,though-the penultimate episode of the season. That I could believe, but everything else that led to that, not so much.Another thing I couldn't believe is that Freddie got murdered.I was shocked! It's kind of a pattern, really.First Chris and now Freddie? But was it really necessary? And if it was, why not show everybody's reaction to the death of their best friend, brother, lover? That would have been amazing.Just one more episode.I don't know if "Skins" will return next year, or if there will be a re-cast(most possible.Freddie's sister Karen, maybe?) but I would be extremely disappointed if they didn't show the group's reaction to Freddie(and maybe Cook's) death in some way.
Best episodes : Katie, Cook, JJ, Effy.

WATCHING : Lost - Recon

*SPOILERS AHEAD*

Can you people say "filler" loud enough so that the guys over @ Hawai can hear you?Nah, don't bother, coz this episode isn't worth it.I can't believe we are watching episodes like "Recon" at this point of the season. In any other time in the series it would be an "okay" episode, but now? When there are only 8 episodes left?Come on!
So let's get the bad things out of the way.Kate and Claire.OMG!Don't even get me started on that one!The scenes they had together were lame,to say the least.Waste of the episode's very valuable time,IMO.A touchy feely scene at the end with the woman she took her baby and says she hates blindly, and that's it.Thank God for the Smocke-Kate scene where he tells her about his mother(the whole Adam and Eve - Cain and Abel theory fits like a glove, btw),otherwise it would all have been pointless.
Also, I felt that they kinda dragged the scenes out a little bit, like they didn't know how to fill the episode. With moving the story forward, maybe??Why were Sawyer's scenes with Zoe so long?We knew from the start that she was lying, so they should have Sawyer exposing her in like 2 minutes and maybe have a larger scene with Widmore. Or something. We are at the final season, they could have chosen tons of stuff to show.
Other than that, the flash sideways was amusing and interesting. One of the best FS up until now, maybe. Also, Holloway's acting was good.
So, I will do myself the favour and pretend I didn't just watch this and skip right to the next one which I-and every respectable Lost fan-have been waiting for a very, very long time!

WATCHING : Lost - Dr.Linus

There's not much to say about this episode,as there was not a lot of action in it.I didn't like it as much as everyone else says they did, but it was alright.
One thing's certain, though : Michael Emerson is a, and I cannot stretch this enough, brilliant actor.Without him, Lost wouldn't have lasted as long as it has, there is no question about it.
Also:the hidden power-fever innuendos, the Napoleon metaphors and Locke's contribution in the flash sideways, were GENIOUS!!!

WATCHING : Big Love Season 04

Let me start by saying that Big Love is an amazing series with a great story and fine acting.
This year we watch Bill as he struggles to handle family, his old business, his new business(casino) and his campaign for state senator. His plan is to be elected and then announce publicly that he supports plural marriage.
Of course, it's not at all easy as Ana comes back telling him she is pregnant with his child, he learns about his son's and Marge's indiscretions, Nicki finds out she is infertile and doesn't want to share Bill with the other wives anymore and Barb states in a breath taking season finale, that she needed Bill for 20 years and now she doesn't need him anymore.
No season of Big Love has disappointed me and this was no exception.Unfortunately there were only 9 episodes instead of the usual 12(still don't know why that is).Not better than the 3d season which has one of the best episodes of the series,IMO,but still great enough to have you hooked.
Brilliant television, totally recommend it!

WATCHING : Lost - Sundown

*SPOILERS AHEAD*

The episode begins with an awesome fight scene between Sayid and Dogen. Is there really more to ask?
The answer is of course no.Maybe the poorest flash sideways to date, with the exception of Kimmie's and Jin's appearance, but it really didn't matter because what was happening on the island was all you really wanted to see.
The story is unraveling with a quick pace and it's about time, seeing that there are only 12 episodes left *sigh*, and everything is starting to fall into place.Well, not exactly, but still. Smocke has successfully made everyone to flee in panic, even though they all kept saying that the Temple would protect them(yeah, what happened, to that?).With, apparently,Sayid taking his side and rediscovering his dark side, along with Claire and Sawyer and some scared ex-Others, he is now the master of this game.
And then he lays his eyes on Kate. The way he looks at Kate in the final scene(what a brilliant actor!)was,IMO,the episode's best moment. Disappointed and angry but all the while thinking "I'll deal with you later".Amazing! And Kate...well,let's face it.She's in trouble big time!Apart from "siding" with the bad guys without even knowing it, she told psycho-Claire that she took her child and raised it.Come on!Can't you see her?Shut up for a minute and think!Eugh!
So it appears we have two sides now(it reminded me of Stephen King's "The Stand" and I am yet to be proven wrong) : The baddies, with Smocke, Sawyer, Claire, Sayid, Kate and some of the Others and the good guys who are Jacob(I don't know in which form yet,but all bets are on Jack so there can be a Jack - Locke face-off in the finale),Jack, Hurley who will eventually meet with Sun, Ben, Miles, Frank and Ilana. Richard has gone AWOL and Jin we assume is still at Claire's hideout.Let's see how it'll all play out.
Great episode with the flashsideways being its only flaw.

WATCHING : Nip/Tuck Series Finale

Not what I expected at all. Then again I have been saying that for Nip/Tuck for the last 3 years. How come such a unique and promising series become such a pain to watch, I will never understand.Maybe it is because Ryan Murphy practically abandon it to set up Glee or maybe it is because the actors got tired after a while (6 years) or maybe they just ran out of ideas. After the first 3 seasons which were admittedly very good, the series just went downhill.More and more perverse situations occurred, which of course didn't have to,but they had to shock us somehow, characters -mostly the leads- were getting more pitiful by the episode and the end was mediocre, to say the least.
Well,what can you do?

*how so many men were pining over Joely Richardson who played Julia, is still beyond me!

WATCHING : Lost- Lighthouse

*SPOILERS AHEAD*

Weird episode, that was.
In one hand we have the "Jack flash sideways".I like Jack very much, unlike the majority of the viewers.I,to this day, can't figure out why people don't like him.
Anyway, we see that in the alternate reality,or whatever that is,he has a son.His mother is unknown to us, possibly his ex-wife, Sarah. He visits his mother house where they open his dad's will and learn the truth about Claire.Well, only her name is mentioned so we can only assume her connection to the Shephards. The only use of this flash sideways was to see Jack's house and to hear a particular phrase because....

....in the island Jacob visits Hurley and tells him to make Jack go with him somewhere. It turns out to be a lighthouse, where a bunch of names are written there with, surprise surprise!, numbers next to them.If you want to see the full list of names written in the lighthouse, go to Lostpedia, these guys are unbelievable! Kate's name is not crossed out, but she doesn't have one of THE numbers next to her name, nor was her name etched in the cave.Jack concludes that the lighthouse is some kind of a devise that Jacob used to spy on all of them before they crashed. Come on, don't judge him!He had to pick his candidates somehow, right? Hurley is told by Jacob that he brought them there because something bad was arriving at the Temple and the others who are there are in grave danger.

Which bring us to Clare.I am so so glad they left her story for the last season!I think it fits perfectly now.We can only assume that Claire died back in season 4, when there was an explosion at her house at the barracks. She took of with Miles and Sawyer and woke up in the jungle only to see father Shephard holding Aaron. No one saw her since. We know that she has evil in her, as Dogen told Jack, and she refers to Smockey as "my friend" when he visits her tent.Well, that can't be good. She thinks that the Others have her baby and has no idea about Kate. When Jin tells her, she seems very upset.Later Jin, decides to tell her he was lying about Kate, seeing what a psycho she is. Claire said that if Kate truly had her baby, she would kill her.And Kate is on her way to find Claire.GREAT!!!
So Smockey is her friend, as Claire informed a surprised,to say the least, Jin when he called him "John".I guess she sees the same thing in him as she saw in her dad when she followed him that night, because Men In Black HAD to be in father Shephard at some point.
Confusing as hell (duh) but not at all bad. Especially Claire's bits.

WATCHING : Lost - The Substitute

*SPOILERS AHEAD*

Wow...A very, very good episode. Not excellent, but very good.Let's start from the beginning.

First and foremost, Flash sideways and island timelines were both very interesting.
In the flash sideways we see that Locke has not only stayed together with Helen, they are also planning on getting married inviting Locke's father (obviously his disability has nothing to do with his father). He meets Hugo, as the owner of the box company where he used to work, he meets Rose as a job advisor (she has terminal cancer), and at the end, the ultimate shocker, he meets Ben (history teacher ) who is Locke's colleague at school.I'm not exactly sure how Ben's appearance in the flash sideways adds up and can be translated somehow in the island timeline, but they will figure it out somehow. Or not. Always a possibility.

Now to the juicy part. On the island we see Locke talking to Richard who is obviously scared to death of him about taking his side or something like that, when suddenly he sees a blonde boy with blood on his hands. When asked, Richard says he doesn't see anyone.Later on when Locke is with Sawyer in the jungle, he sees the boy again and he seems taken aback when Sawyer claims he can see him too.Locke runs after the boy. The boy tells him : "You know the rules, you can't kill him" . Who the hell is this boy????Some say he is young Jacob, some say he is a wonder child like Walt was.I would like to think he is Aaron.Granted,a bit far fetched, but wouldn't it be totally cool if he was? Of course we assume that by the "rules" and "can't kill him" he means that he can't kill Jacob. But hasn't he already? *scratches head* And why Sawyer can see the boy and Richard cannot?Well, maybe because Sawyer is a candidate! What's a candidate, I hear you ask.A candidate or a substitute is the person that will take Jacob's reins when he dies, leaves, disappears, who knows?, and will therefore continue to protect the island. Protect it from what? "Nothing, that's the joke. It's just a damned island", answers Smockey.Well, hold on there Mister! It's not just a damned island! We spent 6 whole years trying to figure out what the hell this "just a damn island" is all about and still we 've got nothing, and you're telling me that "Oops! There was nothing after all!" ???Noooo freaking way am I believing that. And it doesn't stop there. There are names written all over the walls of the cave.Sawyer spots Jack's, and Smockey shows him Hugo's, Sayid's Kwan's (it could be either Jin or Sun) and his own,Ford,as he scratches Locke's name out.Every name has a number written beside it.Of course , the six numbers are THE numbers. When asked what are the numbers for, Smokey replies "Jacob had a thing for numbers". Does that mean that it's all random? That Jack 's number and the others candidates' who survived and their names were not scratched out, just happen to be the ones that Desmond was pressing all these years and caused the Oceanic aeroplane to crash in the first place???Nahhh, not possible.I know that there is a chance that the writers will never explain the numbers. But I can't buy that they are random and was just something for Jacob to play with, because he just had a "thing" for numbers.
In the end, Smockey is trying to recruit Sawyer and talks  him into helping him  get out of the island and go home, wherever that is.Sawyer of course agreed, but I think he is playing him big time.He is a great con man, after all.The thing that bothers me is why does Smockey needs someone's help to get out of the island? What is it that holds him back, restrains him?
According to my theory, Smockey and Jacob are Abel and Cain. The skeletons that were found in the cave is Adam and Eve.In the cave they also found a bag which contained a white and a black stone.Anyways, Cain and Abel are somehow trapped on the island.Caine wants to use his dark powers on us, our world which he calls home and Abel is just trying to keep him from leaving and wreaking havoc on Earth. Ohhh, so epic! From last season's finale I thought that they were God and Devil or something quite like that, but Smockey told Sawyer that he too was a man once.Maybe it was just a figure of speech, or maybe he was trying to exploit Sawyer's sentimental side.
By the way, is it just me or the whole recruitment thing screams Lord Stephen King's " The Stand" ? Smockey is Randall and Jacob is Granny Abigail. The great question is : where is granny??? ARGHHHH!!I don't know!!!This whole thing is so mind wobbling!!!Instead of getting our numerous questions answered, they are adding more to the pile!!!!With only 14 episodes left, I'm sure it's gonna be quite a ride!

WATCHING : Lost - What Kate Does

*SPOILERS AHEAD*

Well, Kate didn't do anything. Not in this episode, not in any episode she appeared, if you ask me.
To be honest, I was expecting this episode to be a lot worse, since I heard such terrible comments from all my friends, but fortunately it wasn't. It was just a bit blunt. I am so over the lovey dovey stuff between her and Sawyer, like 4 years ago.Come on, the "I came back for Claire" excuse is so lame. After 3 years of being a mother to Claire's baby and not wanting anyone to find out in case they will take him away, suddenly she wants to return to the island she allegedly wanted so bad to get away from, for the sole reason to find Claire and give her her baby back. It's ridiculous.
As for Claire, I was sooooo excited to see her again after 2 years because one thing I wanted from this final season is to explain what happened to her.I could never forgive the writers if they didn't show Claire's story in the end.Well, to have a gun pointed at you by a woman in handcuffs and manage to get away and then 2 hours later the woman returns and you decide to get in the same car with her again, is a tad surreal don't you think?(Is the public transportation really that bad in LA???)Maybe the writers wanted to show that whatever the circumstances these people will always end up "together",that there's a connection between them, like the way Kate looked at Jack at LAX.Hmmm, yeahhhh, again stretching it too far I think.
Obviously Claire has had the same "infection" as Sayid, according to Dogen. We can only assume that he means that Smokey was in her too.But the thing is, that it is inside Locke, so how can he be inside Sayid, too?We also assumed that the last time we saw Claire in "Jacob's" Hut with her and Jack's father, Smokey was inside him so how could it get into Claire too?Maybe it is taking multiple forms, I really don't know. What we do know is that Smokey can't take over another human being unless he/she is dead.So Claire is dead. And Smokey is in Locke. So why the hell was she pointing a gun at Jin at the end of the episode????Some say she is Rousseau.I really hope she isn't.I guess we'll find out more about Claire on episode 5. Can't wait!
