Every time I watch Lost's finale, I like it even more!I think I was a tad too severe in my review of the last episode.I think, after the 3d time I've watched it, I am satisfied, both emotionally and mentally(plot wise).Watch it more than once, guys. You'll live a totally different experience!

WATCHING : Lost - The End
*SPOILERS AHEAD*
Here endeth Lost.
I've watched the finale on Monday night.I've prepared some kind of ritual beforehand, switched off all phones, turned off all the lights and hit Play, prepared to watch the final episode of a series I've been a huge fan of for 6 years. After 1h and 44mins of literally not moving from my seat and not making any sound, it ended.I decided to let some time pass, because I wanted to be completely unaffected emotionally and mentally before writing this review.I can't say it worked, since I am still indecisive and torn. Loved it, hated it,are both very strong words and I didn't want it to come down to either/or.But then again, Lost was all about extremes this past 6 years, and the finale was no different.
But more to the point.Which is basically one:did it worth it?And the answer,in my mind, can be only one:Yes.It did.
I won't try to persuade you that I was not pissed, because I was.I was one of many that was desperately hungry for answers.Answers to the numerous questions the writers themselves had posed in every single episode.I was not deluded of course and I knew that I was not gonna get them, at least not all of them. But I still needed some, any! explanation of some basic stuff that went on.In the end I realised answers were not necessary.Which made the questions unnecessary as well, which only makes you wonder why the hell they existed in the first place. Why insert all these perplexing and unexplainable situations when you know that, as a creator, you are not going to at least try to make some sense out of?Why go to all this trouble to create such an intriguing and mysterious plot and have millions of viewers going through the web searching for information in the hopes of making heads or tails of this untangleable mess, only to remind them that you know, this is a character series after all.I don't mind it being a character series at all, that's what I loved about in the first place. But why not try to have a good character series with a decent plot at the same time? Why putting your all in constantly enriching the plot if in the end, it basically didn't matter? And to insist that they have known the end from the beginning, only makes it worse. That was the only real complaint I had watching the finale. Why all this?
That being said, I found myself wondering "Why NOT all this?"It was a story, a farytale, about a group of people who went through incredible emotional and physical ordeals, which made it extremely difficult for them to let go after they died.People that have created a safe haven, a sanctuary where they could all meet with one another and move on to a different place, a higher existence. That's it.Unfortunately when you have thrown in all these sci fi and fantasy stuff and then try to wrap it all up with a religious and metaphysical ribbon, you must be fully aware that it will definitely not gonna sit well with a lot of people, and it's completely understandable.
You see, I started writing this review trying really hard to be unbiased and unattached but I can't, I keep going back and forth, like it-disike it-like it again-dislike it again.
I guess what I am trying to say is that I am really, really sad that Lost has ended and I strongly believe that there is not gonna be another series like it.I enjoyed it full heartedly all these years and even though the final episode did not fully satisfy me, hey, it was just another episode.I will never forget the times it made me laugh, the times it made me cry, the times it made me sit up and yell at the screen, the times when I just couldn't wait to see "the next episode", the countless hours I researched on the net, the numerous conversations and arguments I had with friends about it,everything. If that doesn't make a great show, then what is?
I will always remember it fondly and love it with all my heart.

WATCHING : Lost - What They Died For
*SPOILERS AHEAD*
Boy, do I not like the way this is headed!
It saddens me to feel this way, believe me.To not have a good thing to say about a Lost episode, is unbelievable.I never thought this day would ever come. But I just can't pretend I like it, I'm sorry. After the last episode, the spark is not there any more, I feel.Though, I have to admit I take some things I said about the last episode back, after a long talk with friends and a lot of explaining of what is going on.But was it really explaining or just speculating?I still don't know.I feel, and I will try to put this in the nicest way possible, that the writers took the cowardly way out, by giving us episodes like the last two. It's like they added so many unexplained and unanswerable stuff and they kept adding and adding, only to wash their hands in they end and say "Well, none of that will be answered, not really, but we're leaving it up to you to interpret them in any way you want".Well, that sucks for me.Maybe that's their explanation, that their isn't one. They didn't want to restrict the viewer, confide him in one and only one way of thinking. That may look good on paper, but I don't think it actually is.I'm of course looking forward to the finale because I believe hope is not lost(no pun intended!).After the finale I will have a more clear view of the whole series. And I am certainly not condemning Lost, being one of my favourite series ever. But I have a strong feeling that the aftertaste will be bitter as hell.
WATCHING : Survivor Heroes vs Villains Finale
*SPOILERS AHEAD*
::DRUMROLL::And the winner is...::DRUMROLL
Sandra!*doing the crazy happy dance*.Was I surprised? Hell, yeah!Let me do a short evaluation of each finalist and tell you why:
RUSSELL : Well, he is an asshole. There was no way in hell,-you know, his home town- that he could win.Him not grasping that, is still beyond me.I just can't get it in my head how a person can be so ignorant after he went to all this trouble to show and actually be proud of his immense megalomania and self love.I mean, didn't it cross his mind even for a second, that most people don't like that? There's more to the game than strategy and he ought to know that, seeing how he lost in Season 19.But instead of changing HIS game, he expected everyone else to change THEIR vote.Such things do not and will not happen. And I am very glad they aren't.Well, they did happen once, all the way back to Season 01 and Richard Hatch, who Russel has probably idolized before going into the game. But that was 10 years ago and it was the first Survivor ever. They kinda played it by ear and unfortunately, that was the result. It is no wonder though, that no person like Richard has won Survivor since. That didn't seem to bring down Russell at all, as he continued to believe that everyone would vote for him because they ought to respect his game. When no one can respect you as a person, they cannot respect your game. It's as simple as that.As Candice said, he took it a bit too far.Malevolent things he did or said where not necessary, which means he sucked at the social game, which means he couldn't win.Even at the very end, the last tribal council, he was adamant about his actions throughout the game, refusing luck was part of it.He didn't get a single vote and still he didn't seem to get it!Ugh!I hope we will never get to see him play the game again.
PARAVTI: She is another story entirely.Or isn't she?She played a different game than Russell, full on strategic and physical, yes, but different. She didn't back stab anyone and she stayed loyal to her alliance, even putting her neck on the line so as to secure it, when she gave both her immunity idols to Sandra and Jerri. But who gave her the idols?Russell. And the one she desperately needed when in Villains tribe to save her butt?Russell again. She was very close to Russell throughout the whole game and even though she used him as she very correctly said "Because no one else would take her", she was not the instigator she was in Fans vs Favs and I think in the end the jury couldn't tell those two apart. It was a bit unfair to Parvati because she played a hell of a game. But having to vote someone that was very close and often depended on the person you absolutely despised,is difficult and complicated. Despite all that though, I was 100% sure that she would win.But...
SANDRA:Needless to say her game compared to Russell's and Parvati's was night and day.She was not strong physically, she didn't win any individual immunities and she never had a hidden immunity.Well, except for that one time, which she actually didn't need to play it.She was also on the outs when it came to the main Villain's alliance ,Russell, Parvati and Danielle and she did everything she could to survive another day.And she did.She was also very likable. She was not out to get anyone (except Russell), she didn't have bad relationships with anyone. On the contrary, she had great relationships with the Heroes, as she desperately tried to save them after the merge, but to no avail.Heroes, whose number was big in the jury, understood that (a little too late) and they gave her the million.Being clever and opinionated, never taking crap from anyone, never being scared of Russell, all the while making him think she is no threat at all, makes her more than deserving to win in my eyes.Bravo!
Final 3 never appealed to me and I think it's a bad way to end a very good season.Final tribal proved that.It lacks the excitement of the final 2, who to chose to compete with and all that drama was,in my opinion, necessary especially this season. That being said, I think that Heroes vs. Villains was an awesome season with, though it didn't look that way at first, fantastic players.
Next stop : Nicaragua!
*I can begin to describe my admiration for the man named Jeff Probst. He is just brilliant!

WATCHING : Lost - Across The Sea
*SPOILERS AHEAD*
Huh?
I really, really, really don't know what to say about this episode.I'm at a loss for words.Which, under any other circumstances it'd be awesome, but now, not so much.
This is not actually a review, since I find it extremely difficult to review this episode. All I know is that I thought it was perfect and unbearably frustrating at the same time.Yeah, I know.Weird.At first glance, Across The Sea had it all, the acting, the direction, the atmosphere, everything was there. However, it was flawed.Way flawed.Maybe because this episode was advertised as an "exposition" one , and answers was the one thing we didn't get.Questions?Yeah, plenty of those! Will they ever be answered? No.Is it ridiculous and annoying?Absolutely.
You know, all I wanted was to find out who these guys are and what is their connection to the island and I was good to go.No more questions, everything answered.Well, not exactly, but it'd be good enough for me.Why did they have to complicate things even more?I'm not even gonna start with the questions, it'd take me all day!Maybe I'm dumb, and everything is so obvious and apparent and only I can't see it.Maybe there was an explanation given and I didn't like it.Maybe I don't know what I'm talking about. But, while there is a strong possibility of all of the above happening, sure thing is that L&C had a whole season to start filling holes they themselves dug deeper and deeper and deeper all these years, and they didn't do it.It feels like they're just putting a blanket above each hole and saying "Well...here you go".For me, after watching and being a huge fan of Lost for 6 years, this is not acceptable.
*Why not make all the episodes like Ab Aeterno? Simple, explanatory and amazing. Pfff!

WATCHING : Survivor S20 EP13
*SPOILERS AHEAD*
So, Rupert is out.
Unfortunately, I accidentally found out about that this morning, while searching for Life At Ponderosa videos of Danielle, because I was curious to see how the welcoming party went. But lo and behold, I found one with Danielle's face on it and I thought that was it, but when I clicked on it, it said "Life At Ponderosa Rupert Pt.2" *sigh* That's internet for you!
What I found interesting about this episode, though in general it was kinda dull, was Russell's attitude towards the game.I thought he was out of his mind voting Danielle out and deciding it so spoteniously and so careslly, when he had nothing and no one to back up his plan. But, after thinking it over, I've got to admit it was a good strategic move, even if it didn't seem that way at first. But now, I am absolutely sure he has lost his marbles!Being mad at Jerri for not picking me for the challenge win and deciding to flip? That's just plain stupid and selfish. He seems so unable to concentrate on anything because he is overwhelmed of the fact that he is not in control, that he was, practically, never in control. He gave his idols away to save other people, he had no idea who had the other two, he was not in on the plan to throw out Candice, nothing! And he thinks he has done so much for this girls, he said it himself, and he brought them all the way to final five and they still don't bow to him, they still don't respect him. That's what will cost him the game, in my opinion, because even he makes it to the final two, no one will vote for him.No one.
When I saw him promising final 3 to Rupert and Colby, I was smiling and saying to myself "Come on, don't waste your cunningness and your villain wit on those two. They are out!" because I thought he was just playing with them. But when I saw that we was actually considering, nay, planning to vote Parvati out, I was shocked!Granted, great strategic move on his part, but it was a shock, regardless. And if she hadn't won immunity, I think he would have gone through with it.Speaking of immunity, 3d endurance immunity after the merge? The ones Parvati ALWAYS wins?Come on!!!!Could it be any more obvious that they trying to have a two-times winner for the first time? Well, it seems pretty obvious to me.The way I see it, if Parvati makes it to final 3 or 2, she is guaranteed to win,no doubt in my mind.Regardless who is up there with her.Villains claim that Rupert and Colby are such huge threats for the jury votes.Have you not played Survivor 2 or 3 times???Nobody is gonna vote for Colby and maybe JT,Amanda and Coach would vote for Rupert, but that's it.Startegic players have won the game so many times.Ring any bells Parvati? So unless Russell gets Jerri and Colby to vote out Parvati, they don't stand a chance.
Don't forget : Survivor Heroes vs Villains finale is on Sunday!
*edit(just a tiny one) : If Rupert had listened to Sandra from the beginning, he could definitely make it to the finals. She tried to save his butt and be on his side so many times and he didn't listen to her.She told him to get rid of Russell and he goes yapping to him that she is still after him.WTF?You're trusting Russell now, trying to be on his good side? The man you said you despised and loathed with all your might? And you're still wondering why you haven't won?Pff!
What also got a huge eye roll from me,was Jerri's comment on Sandra and Parvati giggling at Russell's threats."Why do you want to upset Russell? Are you crazy?" Oh yeah? Why is that exactly?Granted, he's appearance is somewhat intimidating, all troll-like and stuff, but come on.The girls know that at this point in the game, Russell cannot scare anybody.Ultimately,he will have someone alongside of him at the last tribal, and whoever, WHOEVER that is,Russell cannot and will not win.

WATCHING : Amazing Race Season 16
*SPOILERS AHEAD*
Ugh!The finale was so frustrating, I cannot even remember the season's good moments.
Well, I guess the greatest moment was Brent and Caite participating.Right from the start, it ensured uncontrollable pointing and laughing.
Season was OK, I guess, nothing major and reality-themed happened.2 U-Turns, the second one was idiotically used, causing Carol and Brandy to go mad and not unjustly. You see, Caitie was upset because they think poorly of her, so she deicides to get rid of them.Well,of course they would think poorly of her.Hasn't she seen herself getting ridiculed on national TV?She said she wanted to make it to the end to prove how smart she is to anyone who has the audacity to diss her instead of automatically kneeling before her.Being stubborn, persistent and mean does not make you smart. In fact, she proved quite the opposite when she did all these mistakes during the race. So, the bad blood between those two teams continued even after B&C finished the race, making the last scene of the episode the first dispute that took place after the end of the race and a brilliant reality gem.
Call me crazy, but I wanted team Jordan and Jeff to last longer in the game.I mean, I didn't really care about the girl but he was so funny!
"We're so stupid!We definitely shouldn't reproduce." I mean, come on!Priceless!
I can't say I supported team cowboy during the whole game.I didn't like them at all at first, I wanted them out!But after the 3d episode I knew I wanted them to win and I believe they deserved it.But they didn't, hence the frustration.I didn't really care about Dan and Jordan.I felt they were a bit whiny and they always bickered. But hey, at least B&C didn't win, that's something!
For Season 17,I think they should have a major brainstorming and change their challenges a little bit.Not make them tougher necessarily, but different. We keep seeing the same challenges over and over again, like the building climbing or rapel, the bungee, the correct order challenge in the end. After 16 seasons, they have gotten kinda old.

WATCHING : Lost - The Candidate
*SPOILERS AHEAD*
This episode was so unequal, as unequal things go I guess.I felt so much emotions watching it.Anger, frustration, sadness, anguish, excitement, astonishment, disappointment.
I will explain,in brief :
Anger and frustration, because I didn't like the first half of the episode at all.It was the same old stuff, written in a different way.Totally wasted precious Lost time.If it was in any other episode, in every other season, it would still suck, but not as it sucked being part of one of the last five ever Lost episodes.Apart from a few, very few, exceptions, all the FSs were the same : someone from the plane meets someone else from the plane and we have to understand, like we didn't the first 50 times!,that everyone is connected. We get it,OK?We're not stupid!Well, not all of us!So anger and frustration because I couldn't believe I was watching the same thing for the billionth time and which, mind you, took 20 minutes?Yes,plenty!
Anguish, excitement and astonishment because of the sub scene.Thank God(or Jacob, whatever) for the sub and for Widmore or whoever brought it to the island, because it totally saved this episode. It lasted only 10 minutes(!!!),but it was all it took. When I heard Jack trying to explain MIB's strategy and that maybe he is not allowed to kill the candidates and he wants them to kill each other so he can leave, and then with the bomb and Sayid telling Jack where to find Desmond and that he is the one,I sat up on my bed and I literally gasped. Not that it was the most unexpected thing in the world, but to me it meant a lot, because nothing has made me spring from my bed in such a long time and I felt like it was long overdue and I needed it.It felt like watching Season 01-02 all over again, and I loved every minute of it!
Sadness because Sayid died(who would have thought?)sacrificing himself and disappointment because of the way they chose to disgrace Sun and Jin's characters.Maybe I'm overreacting, but that's what I think. To have them talk english, english!!!!,after being apart for 3 years(Lost time) and then to force, no, practically demand viewer's to be sad because they died, is unbelievably disappointing, especially after such a strong scene(sub). And the hands...give me a break! You're nor shooting Titanic! This is Lost!14th episode of the last season!Only 4 left! Why do something so cheesy and cheap? After giving us Charlie's death scene which was amazing, I thought they wouldn't dare play it safe.I was wrong.
If the next episode,Jacob and MIB centered, falls flat,I'm losing all hope for the finale.Like I said : I'm not giving up on Lost,I'd never do that.Unless of course it gives me a reason to give up on it.
WATCHING : Glee + Community
Glee Season 01 EP 17
Ice Ice Baby, Can't Touch This, Total Eclipse Of The Heart and Let's Get Physical all in one episode. It could never go wrong, and it obviously didn't.Best episode of the season so far.
Plus the absolutely amazing Run Joey,Run, which I ,unfortunately, hadn't listened to before. But now I know!
Community Season 01 EP 23
Hilarious. Brilliant.
